MediGrow has been educating Doctors (40 CPD points available) and other medical professionals for several years, helping them to better understand practice management principals, reduce their tax burden and plan for their financial future.
The RACGP and ACRRM have examined MediGrow’s educational offering and deemed it relevant to GPs’ and other health professionals in the delivery of the best possible patient care. GP’s are not taught how to run their practice, how to take full advantage of their income or how to ensure their future is financially secure, for themselves and their families. MediGrow explores and demonstrates these strategies in a one-day, six-hour course. On completion, GP’s receive a formal Certificate and 40 CPD points for the 2017-19 triennium.
Practice Managers and Practice Nurses are committed to supporting the GP’s in their practices and delivering the best possible patient care to their patients. Often PM’s and PN’s don’t receive training on how to run a practice and deal effectively with patients. MediGrow;’s Business Accelerator courses aim to provide practice management skills. In MediGrow’s one-day course PM’s and PN’s will learn skills applicable to the successful operation of their practice. From marketing and social media advertising to effective communication skills and the importance of privacy law. The Business Accelerator course brings PM’s, PN’s and GP’s together to problem solve in practical exercises that generate joint learnings and lead to better outcomes for the practice and each individual who attends.

The Science of Better Business and Financial Health offers 6 ESA CPD points for completion of a course aimed at giving exercise and sports science professionals the skills and knowledge to develop financial, business and professional marketing skills.
Effective tax strategies are explored with relevant case studies along with wealth management practices and accounting procedures, once again specifically tailored to health and allied health professionals.
Marketing and communication techniques are examined along with all relevant regulations to ensure compliant and effective advertising and marketing activities. At the end of the day, you will have the tools to develop your own marketing plan and set three goals for your financial and business future. With a focus on collaboration, you will engage in workshops to problem-solve and assist each other.
